Letters and Notes of Kindness

Matthew Robertson writes: "I just came across your site looking for resources for media ministry. Although my site focuses on technology and worship I found myself drawn to your site. I must say I am impressed with your ministry. I wish there were more people out there doing what your doing. You are truly using your gifts for the Kingdom. I just wanted to encourage you and say keep on keeping on. Thanks for what you are doing for worship teams across the USA."

Michael from South Texas writes: "Branon, your efforts from our retreat continue to resonate at our place. Thanks for your ministry and your willingness to share what God is doing in your life. Continued blessings to you & your family my friend."

This article I will print off and give it to our Pastor who I know will be happy to include it during our next worhship workshop. We have 4 teams and it will be invaluable for them . May God bless you and may you continue to share what He has put in your heart. Thank you for sharing with us. We live in a little City, Nelson. (the centre exactly of New Zealand. If you ever come over please know you will be well received and looked after in our City. The highest rate of sunshine in NZ. Bless you indeed!!. I will put you on our wish list. lol."

Babette comments on the Capo Transposition Chart (found on the Downloads page), she writes: "As a worship leader whose main instrument is keyboards, you have just given me a brain-saving tool! Thanks for putting this together. Many, many, many times I stood in rehearsal with my face scrunched up trying to resolve the chord chart my enthusiastic guitar player downloaded against the score (and correct key) we were going to use in worship. Bless you!!"

Kimberly Connell writes a thank you for a recent article (Spiritual Essentials of Serving) posting: "This sentence is awesome: "As the Spirit comes beside us, we are empowered to achieve greatness in Christ. Also Because our service is rooted in His Spirit we are guided as we use our skills, abilities and knowledge sums it all up. This article really hit home with me. I really needed
to read this. Thank you."

University Baptist Church writes: "Thanks for the ongoing new resources on Worship Team Training.  That site has already been very helpful.  We watched the YouTube clip on marketing worship last night.  It was very appropriate after this past Sunday.  We had a soloist who got so flustered during the solo that she started crying and couldn't continue.  Our choir jumped right in and started singing the rest of the song as the instrumentalists continued without missing a beat.  Our congregation then joined in singing.  It was really an incredible moment; something we certainly couldn't have planned.  Several in our congregation talked about the unity and leadership our choir showed and how the entire congregation seemed to unite around that moment.  McLaren's comments seemed to reiterate your retreat statement that people relate more to brokenness than celebration.  Our folks certainly did on Sunday - maybe it had something to do with the Sunday School lesson being on humility as well.  :) We continue to benefit from the time you were with us.  Thanks again for your ongoing ministry in so many areas."

Christi from Texas writes: "Our team has changed some since you did your workshop at the church.  We now have a keyboard player (who has been with us for about 8 months) and a drummer (who has been with us for a month), in addition to our bass player and percussionist.  Monday night at practice I taught on blemished sacrifice, out of Malachi 1, and there was a real breaking through with the rest of the team.  Several shared from their heart about the condition of their sacrifice and while it was difficult, there was true repentance and forgiveness.  God is doing awesome things with our team and while pruning is never pleasant for the vine, it produces a greater harvest.  I feel like we're starting again, like there is a newness to our team and I'm excited to see what God does and where He takes us. Thanks for asking about us.....Blessings to you and all you put your hands to. What a blessing to the body of worship leaders around the world that God has given you to share your knowledge, skill and love for God!"
