Reviews From WTT Participants "Branon
Dempsey is the founder of FOR
HIS MUSIC CLINICS a ministry that provides educational, musical and
spiritual training for worship team members. According to his website,
Branon's clinics are designed to help provide spiritual and musical
formation, the importance of healthy team relationships and working
together as a unit, effective rehearsing as well as some "hands-on"
music instruction and coaching."David Guion Podcaster, Worship Pastor of Alamo City Christian Fellowship. www.one24worship.com "The one24worship Podcast" |
“Branon has a wonderful ability to help instrumentalists and vocalists strike a delicate balance in any given song that requires attention to volume, tone, and message. Our band learned how to relax and contribute our gifts and graces in just the right amount so that an atmosphere of worship is created not only for the congregation but for us as well. We realized throughout the weekend how blessed we are to be working together as a group of folks who love God and music. We’re grateful to Brannon for helping us move to the next level of quality worship leadership.” Bobbie Maltas, Worship Coordinator Bear Creek United Methodist Church, Houston, Texas.
"Branon opened our retreat with a lively discussion of Biblical worship. His experience and candid evaluations encouraged our team and revealed our potential. We walked away with a renewed sense of responsibility including fresh insights and practical techniques for reaching our goals. There is little wonder Branon is such a sought after clinician and worship leader. All he needs is MORE COWBELL!" Michael J. Peeler, Associate Pastor of Music & Worship, University Baptist Church.
“The conference helped to re-affirm that all churches are facing increasing challenges to minister to a changing generation. The insight and testimonies given during the seminar were helpful in equipping me to face some of our current challenges.”
“The music, teaching, and breakout sessions were great. This was not one of those workshops where you talk about worship and never participate in worship." Darrell Horn - Executive Director, San Felipe Baptist Association, Sugar Land Texas.
"Branon Dempsey is a remarkable communicator. His presentation is informative, practical, Biblical, and enjoyable. That's quite a combination. His personal approach is practicality mixed with humor and good sense. Worship teams need this kind of intentional attention and suggestions that he gives. His work with a praise band gives them the tools they need and the sensitivity to blend and work together in a balanced way. It's not often you get someone who is this clear in their objectives and then gives exactly what is promised. I firmly believe in this personally designed approach for local Churches, and can highly recommend Branon's ministry. I really appreciate the respect and attention he gives with the people he works with. It's great to work with someone who is an encouragement musically, spiritually, and has a servant's heart. His knowledge of music, worship, and technicality allows him to present a personalized workshop for most any situation, allowing churches to enjoy a worship conference without the travel and conference expenses, and enjoy immediate results as well. Branon has the credentials, the ability, and the people skills to benefit a church's worship ministry. My experience has been that Branon will go the extra mile to do everything it takes to bring an excellent presentation which will have maximum impact upon the group he works with. His working knowledge of products such as Sibelius enables him to benefit the technically gifted musicians, and encourages them to produce their own songs and arrangements. In short, I plan on recommending Branon for years to come, networking with him, and utilizing his abilities any chance I get. He is top notch in training, serving, and providing takeaway training which will impact those who sit under him for years." Rick Eubanks, Minister of Music/Youth, Oak Grove Baptist Church, Burleson, Texas.
"Branon served at Wildewood for about six months while our leadership worked to discover God’s direction regarding worship styles and future leadership. His leadership was invaluable as he led us in genuine worship each Sunday. Just as important however, was the teaching that occurred during Worship Team rehearsals. Each of the team members has expressed that rehearsals were a tremendous time of learning as well as great times of worship as the team prepared to lead. Branon has a gift for teaching and leading worship and Wildewood was blessed." George Watson, Senior Pastor, Wildewood Baptist Church, Spring Texas.
"I would like to say that Branon Dempsey’s Worship Leading/Band clinic would be a tremendous benefit to any church or organization that is seeking to be the absolute best that they can be in their presentation of worship to God. Not only can he help in the sound quality of the music, but in how it is presented and the quality of worship in the Spirit. (1 Cor 10:31) He brings a professionalism that displays what the power of God can do in a life submitted to God’s authority. During the clinic, his example to the dynamics of music helped to create the atmosphere that is greatly desired to help the people worship God in a more meaningful way. I would strongly recommend Branon’s Worship clinic to any ministry." Marc L Gerona, Worship Pastor, BridgeWater Church, Katy, Texas.
“I really learned a lot today. It was such a blessing! One session
really helped me understand why worship bands should be aware of how
they are building up their sound/structure/music to leave room for the
Holy Spirit to move in the congregation. It’s just amazing how God can
use our voices, instruments, and hearts to invite Him to dwell and move
within us! The seminar on postmodern thought shed so much light and
truth on what my generation (18-25 yrs) is thinking. Including
myself.Thank you so much for sponsoring this event that gave me some
great tools for ministry!” Quotes from Sugarland Clinic Attendees

Dear Branon,
It was a pleasure to attend two of your workshops last weekend at the "Inside Out Worship Conference" at Grand Parkway Baptist Church on April 28th. I was able to attend "Worship Leader Tips Two" and the "Sibelius Software Overview."
I especially appreciate what you had to say about spending too much time doing and not enough time "being" since I have found that many worship leaders, including myself, spend too much time emulating what's out there. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to see you work with the worship band and to make some very quick, but effective adjustments that illustrated how to give space for the Holy Spirit to move. Quite frankly, your "Worship Leader Tips Two" class left me hungering for more information and the possibility of inviting you to work with the worship team at Providence Christian Church.
On the "Sibelius Software Overview," the tips you provided clearly outlined the simplicity of Sibelius Software. It looks like a lot of fun and a great tool to help me in composing and arranging music for worship. I can't wait to get my hands on this software!
Thank you for the time you spent with me over the phone this past week. I would be interested in finding out about available weekend dates that you have during the late summer so our worship team can experience the training that you provide. I think it will be very motivational for them and we should be much more effective in leading our congregation toward God with your help.
